Terms of Service
Last updated:
These terms govern your use of MedWorks. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them, and if you sign up on behalf of a clinic or centre you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
1. The service
- MedWorks is a cloud system for running clinics: bookings, front desk, medical records, billing, accounting, payroll, the clinic's website and messages to patients.
- We keep improving the service and may add or change features; we tell you in advance of any change that significantly affects how you use it.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate information and keep your password secret; you are responsible for what is done from your account and your staff's accounts, and for the permissions you give them.
- Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
3. Free trial and subscription
- A clinic starts with a free trial without a card, then chooses a monthly or yearly plan at the prices on the pricing page.
- The subscription is paid in advance for each period. If it is not paid after the grace period, the account is restricted until payment, without deleting data.
- We do not refund partial periods unless the law requires it. You can cancel the renewal at any time; the subscription stays active until the end of the paid period.
4. Clinic and patient data
- The data of a clinic and its patients belongs to the clinic, which can export it at any time.
- The clinic is responsible for collecting its patients' data lawfully and obtaining their consents; we process it as the Privacy Policy describes.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for anything unlawful, to send messages to people who did not agree to receive them, to try to break into, disrupt or reach others' data in the system, or to resell the service without an agreement with us.
6. Medical disclaimer
The system is a management tool and does not give medical advice. Medical decisions, diagnosis and treatment are the practitioner's responsibility alone; any suggestions the system shows (including AI features) are only an aid and need the doctor's review.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the service running at all times; it may stop for short periods for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control, and we announce planned maintenance in advance where we can.
8. Third-party services
Some features work through third-party services such as WhatsApp, Google and payment gateways, and using them is also subject to those providers' terms.
9. Intellectual property
The system, its design and software are ours. The content a clinic adds is the clinic's, and it allows us to host and process it only as needed to provide the service.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits, and our total liability does not exceed what the clinic paid us in the previous twelve months.
11. Ending the service
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, after notice where possible. After the account ends, its data stays available for export for 30 days.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms; the new date is shown at the top of the page, and clinics are told by e-mail of any significant change. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
